Pumpkin Bread

1. Mix these dry ingredients in a large bowl.

  • 2⅔ cups flour
  • 1 Tbl. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • dash of whatever other spices tickle your fancy

2. In a separate bowl mix these wet ingredients.

  • 1 can pumpkin (plain pumpkin not the pie mix, in the small 14-16 oz. can)
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. honey
  • 2 c. sugar (white, brown or both)
  • 3 eggs
  • dash of vanilla extract, orange extract, whiskey, or other flavorings

3. Combine wet and dry.

4. Add nuts, craisins, or anything else you might find tasty.

5. Pour into greased bundt pan or two small loaf pans.

6. Cook for a little over an hour at 350˙F until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
